What a wonderful week for our Phoenix! As we approach next week please keep the following items in mind:
1. If you have not picked up textbooks or Chromebooks, please see Mr. Stephens or Mrs. Mallory Monday.
2. College classes at DDCC start Monday, August 18th, so not only will our students be on campus but other DDCC students as well. Allow yourself extra time to combat any possible traffic you experience.
3. Upperclassmen, remember some of you may have a college class that starts at 8:00am. Be sure you are clear with your class schedules.
4. DCECHS Clubs will be starting soon!! Friday during seminar we will have an opportunity for students to learn about what clubs are available this year.
5. Permission slips for Biltmore, community service trips, etc. will go out next week.
6. We will still run shuttles AM and PM next week. Please review schedule on school webpage and Facebook.
7. High School classes run from 8:35am - 2:55pm students should not be picked up early unless an appointment requires it. Early pickups lead to missed instruction.

Phoenix Families, as you may recall back in July we shared information about our Biltmore Trip in October and its cost. We want to share that the deadline for payment is approaching and all be on Sept 7th. We look forward to the fun filled experience for our students year!

Updated Shuttle Times/Info... Please note Bus 33 is now Bus 71. Also, due to road closures the week of August 11-15, times will be affected. Please not those temporary changes highlighted in yellow. For early release days (like the first days of school) please back the afternoon times up by 3 hours.

After last week's subfreezing temperatures, we're especially thankful for this week's 50 to 60 degree weather! 😁
We can't fail to mention a HUGE shoutout to our incredible transportation team for arriving at school sites in the early hours to ensure all buses were ready to roll, and to our dedicated maintenance team for tackling several heating issues that always seem to pop up during such frigid temps. ❄️🚌⚒️
